Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros:comfortable wrist band, pivot point, curved trigger
Cons:Hair trigger (depending on the preference of the shooter)
The Bottom Line: Affordable reliable release with high standards
After my old release wore out I looked for new quality release for a reasonable price, and purchased the Cobra Pro Caliper Loop Lock Release. It’s been five years now since that purchase and the same release is still going strong.

What first attracted me to this product was its price. Now days a release can be well over a hundred dollars. Fortunately the Cobra is runs around thirty-five dollars, and saved me about half my paycheck at the time.
Just because you are paying a lot less for this product don’t think you are buying a “cheap” product. They are a long lasting durable product you can rely on.
The wrist band completely covers the entire wrist with plenty to spare. So people with larger wrists can enjoy this product too. The band is made out of a strong nylon material, mixed with black leather. Strong Velcro straps hold the two ends of the band together, and snug tightly to your wrist. The inside of the band is lined with a gray cotton padding to provide comfort.
The pivot point were the release shaft connects to the wrist strap provides comfort while you are fully drawn back on your bow. It allows the release to adjust to the angle you have your wrist positioned, and relieves unwanted pressure of the wrist strap bundling up at your wrist joint.
Its smooth curve allows your finger to sit comfortably around the metal trigger. It is designed to feel like the trigger off of a rifle to provide comfort for you, so it’s not a big change between the two seasons.
The premium coil spring, and a chrome-moly pivot bearing provides a smooth release once the trigger is activated. The one thing that I like about this system that others might not like is the hair trigger reaction. This meaning that the trigger goes off fairly easy to the touch. I believe this reduces the “pre-shot pull.” When you have a release that takes more energy to activate people tend to get the tendency to shank their shot. And the hair trigger system I believe reduces these tendencies.
I am fully satisfied with the product I purchased, for the price I paid there isn’t much more I could ask for. If you’re looking for a new release this one could surely do the job.
