Have you ever been somewhere with your family or friends, and it seems like you all want to go differewnt places, or when you turn around it always seems like either you are missing someone or everyone else has gone somewhere else, and they are nowhere to found. Well this is the solution to your problems. The Little Cobra MicroTALK1 is not only useful, but once you start using them, it starts to become a necessity. You star wanting them for everywhere you go because of they make your life trhat much easier, and you dont worry about gettubg seperated from the other people in your group because of they are always in touch. There are many many companys that are making these FRS (Family Radio System) radios, but I believe these are some of the best ones that you can buy for your money. I have had mine for about 2 years, not had a the lest bit of problems, and they are still going and going. They get used quite a lot, especially when me and my family go to places like the mall, This way, we dont have to rack up our cell phone bills when I want to ask my mom or my dad a question, or just want to see when we want to leave etc.. They are not big at all' smaller then most cell phones, and they have a good speaker on them so you dont have to always have the thing at max volume. It also has a thing on it so tyou dont have that fuzzing that you normally have with cheap walkie talies, the thing makes no sound at all except when you are being talked to. They have a bout a 2 mile range, which it comes pretty close to that, though that claim is one of those "up to" claims, and things like buildings, powerlines, and other normal everyday occurances bring the range down. Most of the time u have just about a mile and a half range which is actually really good. The only downside to these radios are that they only have 2 channels, and with the growing poularity of the radios, you can get other people talking also on the same channel, in populated areas. BUt in most cases you are just fine with the two channels and it works great. I would reccomend these to anyone that is looking for a easy way to communicate with there family or friends, when they go out and want to have a good, problemless time.
