thief_2's Full Review: Cobra microTALK LI 7200-2 WX VP (14 Channels) Two ...
I recently bought a pair for $60.00, and I think they were worth every penny. I have tried Radio Shack and two models of Cobra radios besides this one. I don't like the newer models a lot because of the lack of a belt clip. It makes them hard to carry. My first model was a Cobra Microtalk 1, it has the best sound of any Cobra radio I have heard yet. The Microtalk 2 has many more features, but with a little more “squeezed” sound. It is really not bad though. The voice scrambling technology is a little metallic in sound, but I only use it occasionally. The chances in our area of someone having the same radio on the same channel are very slim, so voice scramble works very well. It is a shame Cobra discontinued this model, but you can still find it on e-Bay every week. If you see a pair for $50 or less, BUY IT!! It is definitely worth the money, and you can't find these everywhere. Get the NiMH Battery pack, you go through serious money in alkaline cells with this radio.
