After reading copious reviews on the Coby MP705, I thought the media player would be a great product for any person to buy (who likes to listen to music and watch movies). However, my experience with this device was nothing greater than mediocre due to its unreliable downloading, its incapability to import movies and its stalling after downloading media. It's disappointing to know that a reasonably priced, high storage device did not work to my expectations. On good days, when the MP705 actually works, it functions properly and I can listen to music without any problems, BUT its user friendliness isn't up to par. The problem with the user friendliness is that the MP705 doesn't run fluidly, by this I mean the touch pad doesn't sense your touch and it takes a while to change the volume and song. There are some good features on the Coby MP705 that I benefit from, for example: The AM/ FM radio and the convenient setup guide to change your settings like brightness, volume, etc. Also, the internal battery can be recharged by the USB cord that is provided for you in the package, which is definitely a benefit. The internal battery, not to mention, is an average battery lasting 3 to 4 hours continuously. Even though aesthetically, the MP705 looks like a great product with great storage capacity, the cons outweigh the pros. I still use the MP705, with some difficulty, because I simply don't want to pay over $60.00 for a media player. I recommend that you do your research and find deals on IPods or Zunes and DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! You don't want to be stressed and encounter stalling and difficulty downloading from Windows Media Player. Pay the extra $20-30 and purchase a worthwhile media player, it will save you time and effort in the long run, guaranteed.
