| ramosmonique's Full Review: Combi Savvy Z Standard Stroller |
I love my Savvy Z stroller. I purchased this product almost two years ago when my husband and I were planning to travel on a plane to visit relatives.
When I was researching umbrella strollers, I asked some trusted friends for their experiences and recommendations. I received several recommendations for the Savvy Z and for Combi strollers in general. I was so pleased with what I heard that my husband and I bought a Savvy.
Since then, I have used my stroller on numerous occasions. I regularly take it to the zoo, on the airplane, on the train (while commuting to work), to the mall and parks (amusement parks included). I can take my Savvy just about anywhere. I have never paid so much money for an umbrella stroller, but I do not regret that we made this purchase. The stroller has held out wonderfully and continues to be a used without any problems.
The stroller is very easy to open, close and carry. It is a space saver on long driving trips. You have to take so much baby gear when you travel, especially by car. I also like the fact that you can wash the padding because little accidents do happen.
I highly recommend the stroller to my friends.
However, as much as my husband and I enjoy our Savvy Z, I have come across a few people whom do not like the stroller. For some reason, folding mechanism is not like other lightweight strollers (umbrella types). I have personally not found folding it to be a problem, but I have had to review the folding instructions of the stroller to my babysitter or a friend that was taking my son out.
Locking the brakes before folding it could is tricky for some people. Then, if the Savvy is not closed right, it cannot be clipped, that is properly closed. I am used to folding the stroller, but I can see that other people are unsure or struggle with it.
Needless to say, many of our friends and ourselves have enjoyed the reliability of the Savvy. Sometimes, I wish I had a second Savvy because my son will struggle seeing his sister in "his stroller."
This product always gets a good word from my husband and I.
