Cons:No hot water, rude clerks, slow shuttle
The Bottom Line: What good is a hotel without hot water and someone to fix the problem? Stay away!
Well, this is the last time I get sucked in by one of those "free shuttle from the airport" hotels. In this case it took four phone calls and an hour for the shuttle to show up. Upon arriving the manager told us the shuttle driver had been "stuck in traffic." But during our ride at 11pm there was no traffic at all. Our room was clean but a bit tired looking to say the least. The location was very good ( about the only positive I can think of) and across the street from a restaurant we wanted to visit. The next morning I discovered there was no hot water in the bathroom. I called the front desk and was told "you are using the faucet wrong." Wow, guess I'd better go back to college and finish my masters degree so I can operate a faucet. After a few minutes of trying to figure out if this was some new high-tech faucet, I called again. Lots of people are taking showers now. Let the water run ten minutes. Well I did and still no hot water. I complained at the desk at checkout to a clerk who didn't seem to care. A letter to corporate came back without so much as an apology. Most times youll at least geta coupon or a refund. This despite the hotels promise that youll be 100 percent happy or your money back. Ha!
