Pros: mattress is very comfortable when centered. well-made, good price. liked Elixa.com.
Cons: hard to stay on top of air bladder. ditch between bladders
The Bottom Line: Not a good choice for models with 2 air-chambers. limited zone of comfort defeats purpose of having larger bed. do not recommend.

| tommysev's Full Review: Comfortaire Cerenity Mattress |
Based on reviews, I bought a Comfortaire Cerenity mattress from Elixa.com. I, too, found them extremely helpful and friendly and was pleased to find that the price for an eastern king with visco-elastic pad upgrade was only $849. plus shipping, around $100.
The package arrived from New Mexico in 2 large boxes, setup took the 30 min they said it would. It was easy to do; the instructions were well-written.
I chose my side and adjusted the air chamber and, I certainly agree, it felt great.
Then I woke up. I had turned in the night and ended up in the gap between the two air chambers. Imagine two camping-style air mattresses set side by side with a large sheet over top to make one bed. If you move off of one you don't really end up on the other; you end up between them. The comfortaire design (for this size mattress) is, unfortunately, really just that. It's well made and of high quality--and there is a 3" foam pad as well as a very plush "pillow-top" mattress top, but even still there is that gap between the two bladders.
What I found is that the only properly supported area is about one body-width, centered over each air chamber. It was everything it claimed to be when I rested there, but I woke up in that gap every single morning.
If you're looking for a size that only has one air chamber, you certainly won't have a problem with that gap. However, you may find that the bed isn't quite even all around, and you will need to center yourself and stay there.
I used it for 2-1/2 months and returned it before the 90 return-period ended. I was a little sad to do so because I wanted it to work and was truly impressed with the people at Elixa. Important- I paid somewhere around $100 shipping to receive the mattress and then $95 to ship it back from Maryland.
