We've been customers of Commerce Bank for almost 4 years now. We used to bank at First Union but were tired of the lousy customer service and terrible hours of operation. Calling them for questions was aggravating as well and we just had enough.
Days and hours of operation: This bank is open 7 days a week. I couldn't believe it. The hours vary by branch. Our branch is in Thorndale, about a five minute drive from our house. (From the website):

My Experience With This Branch:
If we ever actually have to go into the bank I don't think it's really all that impressive. There's no one greeting you at the door and in fact I'm happy to see more than one teller standing behind the counter. They do mess around a lot with the coin counter because it seems to get jammed a lot.
If we have a question that the teller is not able to answer then we go to one of the customer service desks that are situated to the right of the tellers. Those people are pretty efficient. Funny thing I've noticed; usually we can find a customer service representative faster then we can find a teller.
Once I actually had to ask a customer service representative to get another teller because there were just too many customers for the one teller to take care of. I guess being in retail management for so many years made me stand and take notice.
I really can't complain though because of their hours of operation and that their ATM has always worked without any glitches.
If you have any questions regarding your account that are after business hours just call their toll free number 1-888-751-9000 and you get a live person right away.
If you have any problems with logging on to your account just call 1- 800- 493-7562. Once connected it will also direct you to a live person right away. This person will verify your address, ask the last deposit made to your account and then reset your logon. I've had this happen and it was easily taken care of.

My Experience With Their Website:
I like to check our balances, transfer funds from one account to the other,and pay bills with Commerce's free Bill Pay. If I have any questions regarding our accounts I can call (which is the quickest way to get a response)or email them and they usually get back to me with an answer in about 3 days sometimes less. If for some reason a question can't get answered by email or phone then I go in to Thorndale and get taken care of in person.
The site is very easy to navigate. Registering for their E Bill Pay is quick and easy. And again, they're always there when you have a question.
Something New: Just recently Commerce announced that if you need to use an ATM that's not a Commerce ATM that you will not be charged a surcharge. (From their website):

Conclusion: I have never been happier with this bank. They're open seven days a week with excellent customer service and an easy to use website.
