The Commodore is a small vintage style hotel. We chose the hotel because of the location and low price. We were a bit nervous about staying in a hotel unknown to us. When we arrived we found we were not disappointed. The staff could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the area. We found the hotel is modest but clean. The rooms are small but charming and offer all the amenities of a larger hotel chain. A small cafe, "The Titanic" borders one side of the hotel and has a wonderful breakfast. A trendy bar, "The Red Room" (decorated in all red of course) borders the other side.
