Pros: Copies well in both B&W and color, color photos are most acceptable
Cons: Tends to "snatch and jerk" paper in feeding. Was somewhat hard to install
The Bottom Line: A sensible addition to a small home computer work station.

This machine seems like a sensible addition to the home computer setup. However, for anyone doing high volumes of printing (such as a multi-paged report including full color sketches or photographs, perhaps a thesis), the A3000 is simply too slow. Get a quicker machine. Also, the reservoirs for the toners (two cartridges required), are so small the machine quickly exhausts the cartidges' contents. Machine seems staunch enough. However, it takes quite a while in the "copying" mode to completely finish a complicated page in B&W, much longer when color is involved. Only time will tell how long this equipment will function properly.
