Overall an acceptably designed laptop.
Display is sufficiently bright thanks to its active matrix display. Keyboard layout and feel is good, it is not cramped. It allows for quick typing. I am partial to the accupoint mouse found on IBM Thinkpads and Toshiba laptops so I find the TOUCHPAD awkward to use. However, the learning curve is short thus it becomes easier to use over time.
The physical size allows wrist rests and fair sounding JBL sound. The laptop is fairly heavy and the AC adapter adds to the bulk. Its size allows having a floppy drive & CD-rom drive built-in.
It includes all legacy ports (parallel, VGA, serial), unfortunately it lacks a USB port.
