Our Compaq Presario 900 laptop is wonderful. Watch the stores for discounts or rebates. Ours was less then $900 including tax. It does everything the more expensive models do. Ours included an ac cord, battery and CD creating software. Already installed were windows XP and several other software programs. Has everything you would want in a laptop. I love mine.
I like the style and design. It is not too heavy and the sound is unbelieveable for this type of computer. We were able to plug in all of our accessories with no problem. We didn't get a case to carry it in so will have to purchase one seprate.
