| disartain's Full Review: Compound W Liquid |
This is the old wives tale of how Warts appear. Rest assured this is completely false.
Warts are caused by a virus, they are called benign skin growth. They are also ugly and bothersome.
Warts can be flat, round, big or small. They can appear on any area of the body, but usually the hands and feet are primary areas.
Prevention
Avoid direct contact with another wart.
There are many ways to get rid of warts. Lazer, Freezing, Burning, or surgical removal. Since I am a coward from way back I prefer the over the counter method.
For the wart I had on my fore finger I bought Compound W Liquid This medicine comes in .31 oz bottle and cost me 5.99. It is extremely easy to use. Take the little dauber out and drop a little of the liquid onto the wart, trying not to get any on the healthy skin. The dropper is a handy little thing that usually comes out very slowly and makes it easy to get it in the right place.
I used it twice a day and got rid of the wart, however, sometimes they come back. I found out that the reason for this in my case was that when the wart seemed to go away, which it does by the layers coming off. I had stopped using the Compound W. When it returned again, I started with the medication again and this time kept using it until there was nothing but healthy skin there.
It was messy to use sometimes because I would hit against something and need to reapply again.
Compound W has salicylic acid in it and this is what peels away the wart. Warts often go away with no treatment at all in a year or two. Nobody likes them and they are unsightly especially if on the face or hands where they can be seen. The next time I will probably try the little pads with the medication on them.
Compound W is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone that has these problems. If you have warts on the bottom of your feet or under your nails these are harder to treat and I would suggest going to a doctor for quick treatment.
