Pros: Cute beads
Cons: Not easy to handle
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product for children under the age of 13 or for anyone low on patience. They should name this product Quick Dreads instead.

| iamadj4u's Full Review: Conair Cbd10ncs Quick Braid Hair Braider |
I purchased the Conair Quick Braids for my daughter who begged for one. She was delighted until she actually tried to use it.
I read the directions and and took two strands of hair and placed them in the loops as directed. Then pushed the button, around it spun so fast that she yelped in pain. I tried again and went slower this time and a few stray hairs got mixed into the strands creating what appeared to me as a dreadlock. It took a while to comb that out. Still my daughter wanted those braids and the ohh so cool beads. So we tried it again this time making sure to section off the hair very carefully. Finally we had success. In all it took about an hour.
Combing it all out was another story. Tangled and even matted to the scalp in some places. Needless to say the Quick Braid sits in a drawer. My daughter uses the snap beads that came with it just to snap into sections of her hair. If you want braids this isn't the right product. If you want dreadlocks this is the one for you!
