Finally I Have Straight Hair!!!

Pros:Actually straightens!, velvet plates work, heats up fast
Cons:Doesn't smooth frizzies enough, not hot enough, snags hair
The Bottom Line: this is a quality straightener for a small price. It works best for wavy or somewhat straight hair.
Everytime I blow dry my hair it works less and less. I think my hair is getting immune to the blow dryer! It ends up being frizzy and still wavy. I finally bought a straightener and this one only cost me $10 with a rebate.
There are two different sets of plates on this straightener. One set is the irons for straightening your hair. Then you close it and flick the switch to use the other set- velvet plates. The velvet helps smooth hair and pull it tighter.
The straightener only takes about 5 minutes to heat up, but I wait longer so it is really hot. It needs to be really hot to straighten my hair. My hair is still a little frizzy after using it, but I can just use a hair cream for that.
My hair really does get straighter when I use it, but I need to use other products to weigh it down because I don't like my hair big. I like it stick straight.
I don't like how the irons snag my hair though. Especially when I'm doing the back of my hair, it snags on the corner of the iron and I end up pulling out more than a few strands of hair. you just have to be careful. It helps a lot to blow dry hair first.
If you need a little straightening for a cheap price, this is the perfect thing. It doesn't work as well as really expensive straightener- it's just not hot enough- but it doe help.
