My sis-in-law is a shopaholic, and I understand her a little bit better now. I also have some insight into my own purchasing habits. We never had much coming up, but I remember being so grateful with the few things that I could get. More recently, I've found myself thinking,"twelve-hundred? That's not too bad..!" I mostly savor getting a good deal, though--which is why I'm getting on the "treadmill" to be in shape for Black Friday!!!

a total shopaholic and love it but I just could not get into this book... I read a few chapters and put it away. :(
Glad you enjoyed it... I'm amused that a man would even bother reading it! LOL

"chick lit" though shopaholics tend to think of themselves as chic... I hate shopping and don't aspire to be chic.
