| placidfury's Full Review: Confirm Clearly Smart Pregnancy Test |
I bought this pregnancy test because it is marketed as the newest and best in technology and user ability. The starter package comes with the "detector" and two test strips. Refill packages are also available. The two biggest draws to this product are the digital read out, taking all the guess work out of trying to see or not see plus signs, and the reuse ability. Both would be excellent benefits, if the thing actually worked! I took the first test and got a positive result. Woo-hoo, right? To make sure, I took the test again. This time the result was negative. I bought the refill package, deciding to do it first thing in the morning, although you shouldn't have to. Again the result was negative. So I went to my doctor for a blood test. Sure enough, I was not pregnant. The chance of getting a true "false positive" with pregnancy tests are so remote, that even my doctor assured me I was pregnant. He was as surprised as I was when the blood test results came back. I then did a review search online and found that women are getting false positives all over the place. This product needs to be recalled immediately!
