I find that starch gets into the holes of a strainer, and then unless it fits into the dishwasher (which ours doesn't, at least not often), it's a pain to clean.

I always wondered if the ones with the draining lids actually worked. I would LOVE not to have to use our large bulky strainer. :) Great review.
