I'd only need the one set of tongs, as when I prepare escargot, I removed the snails from the shells first, prepare them, and then reinsert them loosely into the shells.

This saves on people flinging garlicky butter all over the place when the snail finally "lets go."

I'm opting for the Polaroid - I love watching folks struggle!

I'm with you on the multi-purpose tools instead of single purpose utensils - even with seventeen feet of cabinets, I still run out of room.
