Pros: awesome traction and stability!
Cons: that Hyundai doesn't provide a tire like this as stock!
The Bottom Line: Save yourself the $135-150 per tire on the national brands and get these instead!

| ssimon31's Full Review: Cooper Weather Master M+S Passenger/Performance Ti... |
We have a new 2004 Santa Fe and the stock tires were horrible in the snow. After a little research and partly the previous reviewers comments we purchased this tire. They have been performing flawlessly! We have a very steep driveway and every car we've ever seen has always had trouble getting up it with any amount of snow or ice accumulated on it. We usually take a good run for the driveway when coming up it to ensure momentum helps the vehicle make it all the way up. After we got the new tires I went slow and purposely came to a dead stop half way up and then started again. To my gleeful satisfaction the truck went right up the hill with no slipping or spinning at all!
This is the first light vehicle we have owned (our Santa Fe is only 4 cyl)and I was very scared on the roads with the stock tires. These tires have gave me back that safe feeling! We chose to not go with the AWD Santa Fe because we have a long commute and gas mileage is always a concern. I must also report that I haven't seen any noticeable difference in my gas mileage efficiency yet with the new tires which was a concern on review of other winter tires. I also only noticed a slight increase I road noise.
We do intend on putting the stock ones back on in the spring. But, for now the $400 are well worth it to keep from any accidents or running of the road. If you have a light SUV or truck I would definitely consider these!
