Coors Light is a watered- down version of regular Coors. As if original Coors wasn't lame enough, the people of Coors Brewing Co. had to come up with a light beer to meet the demands of the market.
This beer has a golden color, similar to regular Coors, and the same grainy, cardboard- like aroma and taste. The only difference is that Coors Light is more watery and bland. And it has that same unusual flavor that original Coors has, a taste that is somewhat like soap and various other household cleaners.
Coors Light can be paired with almost any type of food that is traditionally served in a tavern, like fries, burgers, chips, pretzels, etc. It goes well with anything that water goes with, so it is very versatile.
The Silver Bullet does taste better the more you drink, but that doesn't say much for it. The same is true of other bad beer products. The more you consume, the less you care about what you are drinking.
Coors Light is popular around the country because of its weak- bodied character, making it acceptable to almost anyone who tastes it. And lets not forget the multi- million dollar advertising budget. The management of Coors was pretty smart when they devised the "Silver Bullet" advertising campaign. It is a catchy title. And, fortunately for Coors, it does work.
