My husband works outside a lot on the weekends, and he is very fair skinned; he burns very easily! He always has to make sure that he has sun protection on before journeying outdoors all day.
We actually received a sample tube of the Coppertone Sport Sunblock inside the package of another item we purchased. But we decided to give it a try.
My husband has applied this to all exposed skin (face, arms, neck) before going to work outside. It has protected him from getting any sun every time he has used it. And not only is it a great sunblock, it has other wonderful features too!
Coppertone has made this sunblock extra special! Check this out:
- This lotion is "ultra-sweatproof"! This is important when you are working outside in the HOT sun! (remember we live in the southeastern US) He has done much sweating after only one application, and still no sunburn!
- This lotion is also waterproof. Great if you want to take a dip in the swimming pool or spray down with the waterhose!
- This lotion also dries very quickly. It is a high performance lotion that bonds to your skin on contact. Your skin absorbs it, and it dries to the touch...no greasy feeling. Most sunblock lotions are very greasy even several minutes after application. The Coppertone Sport lotion is a dry lotion. This is great if you will be working in the yard with tools...they won't slip out of your grip!
- Since this lotion is sweatproof and waterproof, you don't have to worry about it running into your eyes! I'm sure this would burn.
Coppertone's Sport Sunblock is a great sunblock lotion! I have also used it on my son...mainly on his face...when we go out into his pool. It has worked great on him too! NO sun! It has lasted my family members all day, with only one application, but the directions do recommend applying again after prolonged sweating and/or swimming.
The tube we have is SPF 30, but it is also available in SPF 15 and SPF 48. It protects your skin from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays. This lotion is also hypoallergenic and PABA free. I have used it on my baby boy, and it has not caused any problems with his sensitive skin.
Whether you are working in the yard, or swimming in the pool, this is a great sunblock for all ages! I definitely recommend it to anyone that uses sunscreen, and hates that greasy feeling!
