Pros: very easy to use,
Cons: does not work well, extremely greasy, offensive odor, not worth the $8 spent
The Bottom Line: I would avoid this product unless you want to know what a greased pig feels like. It's very greasy, has an offensive odor and does not work.

| cracker24's Full Review: Coppertone Sport Ultra Sweatproof Dry Lotion |
For my job, I had to deliver some material a good six hour drive away. In order to prevent sunburn, I decided to try Coppertone Sport Ultra Dry with an SPF of 30. With the nickname of "Casper", I needed a reliable sunblock for my skin. Little did I know the horrendous consequences this sunblock would have.
To begin with, I never really thought I'd get a sunburn just for driving in the sun. Let me tell you it's very possible. I applied this lotion to my exposed areas and went on my way to deliver these items.
The application was very easy. Simply open the container and squeeze the amount of lotion you need out. However, the lotion was extremely greasy. I washed my hands and prepared to drive. Upon trying to grip the steering wheel, I encountered a serious problem. The steering wheel kept slipping through my fingers because of the sunblock.
So I went inside a store and had to repeatedly wash my hands to get it off. From that instance, I would gather it's waterproof.
Does it work? I don't think so. I was in the sun for six hours simply driving my vehicle and I got serious burns on my face, hands and arms and a heat rash. I could only imagine the bad consequences if I had been on the beach or in direct sunlight. It also has a very unpleasant odor when applied like that of a hospital room. The smell would be equivalent to that of like Bengay. While some people, may like that odor personally I am too young to be smelling of Bengay and hospitals.
The product:
The hard plastic 8 oz. bottle it comes in is blue in color and is very durable.
The Claims: ultra sweat-proof,waterproof, and dry lotion will be absorbed quickly into skin leaving no residue behind to affect your grip. Next, the product claims to protect your skin from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays. The last claim is that this lotion is also hypoallergenic and PABA free.
The truth:
The product is NOT a dry lotion nor does it absorb quickly into your skin. It's definately waterproof as it took me 30-45 minutes to get the stuff off of my hands so I could drive. As far as protection went, I ended up with severe sunburn on my exposed areas that I used the product on. With protection like that it's no wonder people get skin cancer.
Directions:
This product is very easy to apply, just make sure you're wearing gloves or you'll never get it off your hands. The bottle is a flip top. Simply open the top and squeeze out the appropriate amount of lotion and apply. Apply liberally to any exposed areas and let dry for 15 minutes before exposure to sun. It says to reapply after swimming, but if it's supposed to be waterproof why should you need to reapply?
Ingredients include:Ethylhexyl, P-Methoxycinnamate, oxybenzone,2-Ethylhexl Salicylate, water, Peg-8. Octyl Palmitate, silica,dea-cetyl phosphate,acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate CrossPolymer, Diazolidinyl urea, Methylparaben, Aloe extract, Jocoba Oil, Tocopheryl acetate,Propylparaben, Fragrance Disodium edta.
I would NOT recommend this to anyone. When I applied the lotion, I felt like a greased pig. Granted pigs may not mind being greasy and dirty but I do. It also stinks and does not work. The only good thing about this product is that it's easy to apply. Some may think that because it's waterproof, it's good. However, that fact is a huge con to me, especially when I couldn't get the stuff off to drive.
