| jmmatlock's Full Review: Cosco 10-T30 Toddler Bed |
We decided to get the cosco toddler bed in the "primary" colors as a sort of "extension" of the primary colored crib we had. Our son loves the bed - he went right to sleep the first night with no anxiety whatsoever about the fact that he was moving into a new bed. I love the fact that it's easy to get in and out of - no more lifting him out of a crib! It's a cute addition to any kids bedroom.
Specifics: Tubular steel toddler bed - holds a standard crib mattress. (Note, although we had purchased the Cosco Tubular Steel crib, we did purchase a separate mattress from the one provided - a "baby posturepedic". The mattress from the crib has since been recalled and IS NOT RECOMMENDED to be used on the toddler bed, as it poses a strangulation hazard.) Has small rails on either side of the "head" part of the bed, to prevent falling out of bed. Also has small mattress positioners that keep the mattress from shifting. The only minus is that the safety rails make it difficult for the child to make the bed neatly - he will need some help from mom or dad to tuck in the blankets.
It took us about 10 minutes to completely assemble it. It's light and easy for us to move.
