Not exactly a "Big Girls" bed

Pros: affordable, fits crib mattress and bedding

This is a nice addition for a small space in your toddler's room. It's affordable, looks nice, and best of all it fit's a standard size crib mattress. It's low to the ground and all the bedding from the crib fits on it. However, my three year old found out that it's not exactly comparable to sleeping in a "big girls bed" because it's even smaller than the crib she just came out of! Or at least it seems smaller. Do not let the child jump on the bed. It's not strong enough to hold a jumping toddler or even an adult sitting on it.
