Since my son is almost 2 and a half and there's another baby on the way, we decided that it was about time to start looking for a toddler bed. We wanted something affordable, durable and nice looking. When I first saw this bed, I wasn't particularly impressed. Having a metal frame, it just didn't appeal to me.

Well, one day we were walking through our local store and as always wandered into the baby and toddler section. Having a new baby coming we were pricing other things and just happened upon this bed. Well it was the only one left and the price was out of this world! It was cheap at around $27. I'm thinking maybe it was on sale or something. Either way, it doesn't matter because needless to say, we bought it.

We brought it home and my husband immediately started to put it together. It was about time for our son's nap so it was the perfect time to see if he liked it. The putting it together part took around five minutes or so. The bed's only in about six pieces so it was very easy to do.

So now we've had this bed for about a week or so and it's held up well. I know, one week isn't long enough to tell how durable it is but with a 2-year-old, it's usually long enough. I also really like the bed rail features. I don't think our son would actually roll off the bed, but with the bed rails, we'll never have to know. The bed isn't very tall so he wouldn't get hurt much, but I'd rather not try it and see.

I'd recommend this bed to any parent with a toddler who is ready for a big kid bed. And any kid that puts a lot of wear into anything he/she owns. It's a really great bed.
