This was definitely a good buy! We got this bed for my daughter when she was somewhere between one and half and two years old. She loved it! It was a scaled down version of the beds the rest of the family uses, no more 'baby' crib.

I assembled it alone in no time & couldn't keep the girl out of the bed after that! The size is just right, I think a twin bed is so much 'wasted space' in a toddler's room. I also like the low height for safety and easy access for kids. My daughter used it until she was about three and a half and we purchased a full bedroom set for her bedroom.

The metal creaks a bit but that can also alert parents when their little ones are getting up. (whether they're supposed to be or not!) The mesh sides are great and being able to continue using her crib mattress was very handy. Also, the fact that it is so lightweight makes cleaning under it and moving it around very easy.
