I recieved a Cosco basic highchair as a gift when my oldest daughter was an infant. That was almost 13 years ago now. I still have the chair, and it has held up remarkably well! After 3 kids using it, having it stored and moved several times, it's still functional. It is strong and sturdy, obviously built to last.It's no frills design makes it affordable.It's easy to take care of, the plastic seat and tray wipe off easily. It's a practical chair, because it doesn't take up much room. The highchair folds flat for storage or travel. We can easily fit this in the back of our van when going to visit relatives.
It is fairly easy to get the child in and out of the chair, although the locking mechanisms for the tray are located on both sides, so it requires two hands to get the tray on and off.
This chair really doesn't have any special features. It doesn't "do" anything or convert into anything. It is and will always be just a highchair. It's just what it's name implies a good, BASIC highchair.
