Yes but my daughter broke the side so we had to pin the rail up or she would not have any protection. But she learned how to climb over it. So we bought the toddler bed to help us out. There was no point in buying another crib just to have her break it again. It was the logical thing to do.

when your daughter started junping out of the crib - did you ever think to lower the side so that she could climb in and out? It's been some time since I had a toddler, but I thought all cribs had a drop down side.
