I don't recall having a "fancy" bed either Smorg. If it wasn't free he probably wouldn't either.

The only 'fancy' bed I had growing up was a hammock my dad installed after a camping trip. This thing sure sounds more comfy! ;o)

Hi Gael... thanks it is a fairly cute bed. At the time I would have preferred wood but it fits nicely. Thanks for stopping by

....I sure remember those days of getting my older son to sleep in his big boy bed too, when I also was expecting his little brother! This bed sure looks a lot better than the one we had - nice review!
