Pros: Easy setup, compact size, no slats in side rails, fits crib mattress, easy cleanup.
Cons: none noted.
The Bottom Line: The bed uses the crib mattress. It is compact in size, unisex in color and design, and lightweight. The bed is a great go-between from crib to adult bed.

| kellir's Full Review: Cosco Nod-a-Way Toddler Bed 10-B01 |
The first thing I liked about this bed was the color, white. Knowing this bed would become a hand-me-down from my now 3 yr old daughter to my now 18 mo old son, gender neutral color and design was important at the time of purchase. The color goes with any decor and the design is unisex. As to comfort, I believe this really relates more to the mattress you use than to the bed itself. It is sized appropriately for up to approximately age 5.
The bed comes unassembled. It took me about 30 minutes to fully assemble the bed. The instructions were fairly simple. You will need a pickup truck or SUV to transport the unassembled bed home. The box is rather large, although I am not exactly sure of the measurements.
The headboard and footboard are slanted outward, keeping the bed from being pushed completely against a wall. A plus when keeping pacifiers and dolls from disappearing from the bed.
The side rails are not removable and are a one piece design, eliminating the worries of too far apart slates. The side rails come far enough down to reach my daughter's mid rib level when she is laying correctly in the bed. The side rails are high enough even sleeping on a pillow she does not fall out. The bed is low to the ground.
The toddler bed fits a standard baby bed mattress. This helps keep the immediate cost down. As it is using the same mattress from the child's crib, it uses the same sheets too. As to the fit of the sheets, this as with any bed depends on the mattress. My standard mattress holds the sheets in place with minimal slippage (usually only when she jumps on the bed alot). The support slats on the undercarriage are metal and do hold up to alot of jumping. All other pieces of the bed (except the hardware of course) are very thick molded plastic. The bed is very lightweight and easily repositioned within the room.
The bed cleans easily with warm water and your standard all purpose or bathroom cleaner.
