Pros: Easy to use, comfortable, very reasonable price.
Cons: Cosco's recommended 30lb user weight. 30lbs is way too small to be in a booster!
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended! SO easy to use and comfortable. Very reasonable price. Great high back booster seat by Cosco.

WHY I PURCHASED THE COSCO PROTEK BOOSTER SEAT:
I am a daycare provider and needed a good booster seat to transport daycare children occassionally. Since it was an 'extra' seat, the price had to be right, too.
WEIGHT/HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
Cosco states that this booster seat can be used for children from 30-100 pounds; however, child passenger safety technicians (CPSTs) all stress the importance of keeping children in a 5 pt harness to AT LEAST 40 pounds, so I would never reccommend using this seat for a child that weighs only 30 lbs, and wish that Cosco would change this! The weight limit of 100 lbs is a great feature because many other booster seats have a limit of 80 lbs. Accommodates children up to 57" tall.
FEATURES:
*Headrest is adjustable to 7 height positions. The headrest is really very easy to adjust. There are buttons on either side of the head rest that you push in and raise the head rest up or down. Very simple, never gets stuck or anything like that!
*Cupholders - a nice feature, but I took it off of mine because it took up too much space on the seat.
*Removable pillow - it actually seemed to get in the way. The child I had riding in the seat asked me to take it off and we have never put it back on.
*Molded in belt positioning guides on both sides of seat - these are the easiest belt positioning guides I have ever used. The seatbelt slips in easily, but never slips out on its own (as with some other booster seats I've seen). The seat belt moves freely through the guides and never gets stuck in them (also like some other booster seats I've seen).
*The backrest can be removed to turn it into a backless booster. I have never used it this way and don't really see why you would. It is so easy to use as a high back booster that I haven't had the need to use it backless. I also feel that it is safer with the back on.
*Cleanability - very easy to clean. The fabric can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. I've never had to take it off to wash in the washing machine, but don't see that it would be a problem. It looks easy to remove.
SAFETY: Consumer Reports gave this booster seat a glowing review. It rated it the safest of all booster seats on the market (yep - even safer than all of those MUCH higher priced seats)! It must be used with a shoulder/lap belt combination. Please do not use it with a lap belt only!
COMFORT: All of the children that have ridden in this seat really like it. They always seem comfortable (remember, we have the pillow removed), like the armrests, and that it sits up high enough that they can easily see out the windows.
UPDATE: I shouldn't have given this seat 5 stars. Now that I have used it for awhile longer, I have realized that it doesn't offer enough side support for a sleeping child or a child that has trouble sitting perfectly upright for the entire car ride. I feel like I am constantly telling the child sitting in this seat, "Sit up!" The poor girl! She always ends up leaning out of the seatbelt or slouching. This seat just doesn't provide enough support. She is 5 1/2 yrs old and 42 lbs, so she is big enough to be in a booster seat, but this seat is obviously not the best choice for her. I am going to be purchasing the Britax Parkway, which I feel will offer her more support and keep her from slouching and leaning so much.
