Pros: best sheets and mattresses; cleanliness. staff was more than willing to fix error with reservation
Cons: location: seemed hotel was built in the Holiday Inn parking lot (they were that close)
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't stay there again due to location of the hotel and difficulty getting into parking garage.

| jpitely's Full Review: Courtyard by Marriott Tysons Corner |
we stayed at Courtyard Marriott in McLean last weekend. on the plus side, they had THE SOFTEST SHEETS and best mattress I have ever had in a hotel. it was very clean, quiet, no "hotel" smell (you know like they use lots of air freshener to get rid of smoke smells). on the negative side, I called twice before arriving regarding our reservations and they still messed it up (wanted one double, one single, no smoking, next to each other)--ended up on different floors finally. Getting there was awful because it was dark, raining and we were on a busy eight lane road with the side road (chain bridge A) blocked off by orange cones !!! it was an experience trying to figure out how to get at the hotel (finally went through adjacent Holiday Inn). NO SODA in vending machines on any floor Friday night or in lobby...was told they'd be refilled Monday. no answer when calling room service. couldn't get a drink Saturday night because bar was closed for a private party. pool tiny, definitely not for laps. we were going to eat in the hotel dining room Saturday but the smell walking through the short hallway to the dining room was awful, like there was a major problem with the nearby restroom.
