Pros: Great coverage, good color, creamy texture.
Cons: The jar could possible be messy if not handled carefully.
I bought this after looking at it on the cover girl website. It looked really cool and I was looking for a new foundation to cover some of my pimples and redness. I got it at Wal-Mart for about $9. I was really excited to try it after reading some reviews online.
Personally I love the packaging of this product. I comes in a handy little glass jar but you do have to use your fingers or a brush to get it out. It actually comes with a lot of product in the jar because it really doesn't take that much to cover your face.
Well, to get the product out, you need to use your fingers or a brush. But I use my fingers because it really doesn't take that much to cover a part of your face. About a pea sized amount to cover you cheek. And on pea sized for each of the other cheek, forehead, nose, and chin.
The coverage was very good. I bought it in Ivory. It was a very good match for my skin tone because it was not too pink or too yellow. It was a very good neutral. It covered up the few pimples that I had (teenager here) very well. It also covered up the natural redness.
After I applied the foundation, I used cover girl's pressed powder in natural ivory and used a brush to get some out and put it on my face. My skin looked so amazing. I was so happy with how it looked.
The foundation lasted all day with only having to blot once because my skin is somewhat oily. It also controlled the oil better than a lotof foundations do.
It felt really light on my skin and I felt like my skin could still breathe. My makeup looked really natural because it was such a good match. I asked my best guy friend how my makeup looked and he said that my skin looks good but it looked like I wasn't wearing face makeup.
Before I had dark bags from not enough sleep, a few pimples, natural redness, and some blackheads. This foundation covered them incredibly well. I would definitely buy this again.
