The proper and sanitary way to apply foundation is to put a dot on your forehead, cheeks and chin then with a dampen makeup sponge blend the foundation evenly. You should use a makeup sponge instead of your fingertips because you are re-depositing oil back on your face from your fingertips. Also you are adding oil to your foundation every time you go back for more. This is even more unsanitary if more then one person uses the foundation. If more coverage is needed wait for the first coat dry and apply more and blend evenly.
I like that Cover Girl Clean Makeup makes you face look natural and even outs those blotches of redness, pimples, uneven skin tones. If you have oily skin this really helps soak it up and keeps your face oil free all day. It also gives your face moisture so it helps keep your face soft and smooth feeling all day. The foundation stays put all day long and doesn’t fade or look “cakey” as the day wears on. I’ve never had to reapply during the day and it still looked like I just applied it. At the end of the day Cover Girl’s foundation washes off easily and doesn’t leave an oily residue behind.
