| Penlane9's Full Review: Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder |
Cover Girl Seems to be a favourite of teenagers today. Its not a suprise- its inexpensive and easily axcessible at a nearby drug store. But, having used this powder, along with their other products, i can see that i wasn't getting any deal. The quality is atrocious- as would be expected with such an inexpensive product. I was unhappy with the coverage and the makeup was completely gone in no time. It color is uneven and ashy and it breaks apart in the compact easily.
Cover Girl is also known to do cosmetic animal testing on its products. Rather then getting a cheap deal on some low quality makeup, invest a small amount of money in a better product that does animal friendly testing. Foundations, powders and blushes by Clinique have proved to be very effective and moderatly priced. You can purchase this at make up counters in department stores. If you cant afford Clinique, you should try Loreal foundations. These are a much lower price and you can get then in your local drug store. For Lip colour and glosses, i suggest Naturistics brand. They are also animal friendly and they taste great. I get my Naturistics products at CVS.
Though Cover Girl products may seem appealing to the thrifty spender, you appearance will suffer for your decision. I would only recommend this product for very young people experimenting with makeup and even then, be sure that they don't have sensitive skin because these products can be harsh and never use with out a moisturizer.
