Experience:
Ill be honest, I have never been good at makeup period. Never been able to put it on right or sometimes I get some goofy shade that looks terrible. It is really hard to pick out a makeup based on Wal-Mart lighting and what little bit of the makeup is showing in the packaging. I really dont care to wear too much of it, it makes my face feel strange. But alas, I do like to look nice, so I use make up to enhance my beauty.
But, I feel a little safer with the Cover Girl line because I have had more luck with their shades matching. I got the Ivory shade, which is one of the lighter shades, for I am very fair. But, this line has a wide spectrum of shades to fit different people. This particular shade I bought matches pretty well.
As far as application, no big problem. Just put some on the included puff and put it on. I like this powder because it is not heavy or greasy. Just clean, simple coverage for my blemishes.
I have experienced no breakouts with this powder, and as it claims it is fragrance free. I have sensitive skin, and have had some strange reactions to some products, but no problems with the Covergirl line.
The only con I have with this product is that when my face is a little dry and flaky, if I put this makeup on, it seems to emphasize the dry flakes. Also, try to avoid over application of this stuff, it will make it look caked on and quite yucky.
All in all, I would recommend this product for your makeup bag. It is relatively inexpensive, and the results are pretty good. The shades in this line are easy to match to your skin tone, just avoid over application!
