The 3 in 1 foundation make-ups seem to be all the rave this year. I'm always looking for ways to cut down on my make-up application time, not to mention save a few bucks! Several months ago, I decided to give Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish 3 in 1 Foundation a try.
What is 3 in 1?
When you see a foundation make-up that says it's "3 in 1", this simply means it is a foundation, concealer and powder all in one handy make-up. This is nice because it cuts your application time by 2/3! Instead of applying 3 products, you now only apply one! And you save the money you would normally spend on separate concealers and powders. This was a great idea by all the make-up industries!
The Product
Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up comes in a small, easy to open compact. You get about .4 ounces of product. The compact has a flip top and inside is a decent sized mirror. The compact also comes with a square sponge applicator. I like the "spongy" applicators better than the older applicators. They seem to help smooth the make-up on a little easier. Not as much tugging, and not as hard to blend.

Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up is available in just about any color you can imagine! I assure you, there is a color for everyone!
Cool Colors = Natural Ivory, Medium Light, Warm Beige, Creamy Beige
Warm Colors = Classic Ivory, Buff Beige, Soft Honey, Classic Tan
Neutral Colors = Ivory, Creamy Natural, Classic Beige, Natural Beige, Tawny, Toasted Almond, Soft Sable
What a selection!!
Application
Applying Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up is very easy. You can either use your fingers to dot it on, and then smooth with the applicator. Or you can use the applicator to apply and smooth all at one time. I have found that by using the sponge to apply rather than your fingers makes you use more product. Using your fingers to dot on before you blend will help the make-up last a little longer.
Skin Types
Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up is advertised as being for Normal or Dry skin types. I'm sure that it works great for these, but I am oily skinned, and it works for me too. The only difference is, I usually have to use a loose powder over this make-up to help with my oily shine. I don't mind this though, because it's still much easier to use this make-up than to hassle with three! So if you have oily skin, I do recommend using a little loose powder on your oily spots. Also, if you have VERY dry skin, I would recommend applying a moisturizer before you apply this make-up for easier blending!
How Does It Hold Up?
Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up has been a good product thus far. I have found a couple of other 3 in 1 foundations I prefer over this one, but it will do. It is very easy to apply and blend. It has really good coverage and seems to be long lasting. It goes on smooth and creamy, and dries to a powder finish. Overall, this foundation holds up really well throughout the day. And if you need to do a touch up, it's as simple as getting out the compact. It still blends easily when touching up.

Overall
I have been somewhat pleased with Cover Girl's Ultimate Finish Make-up overall. Like I stated above, I have found a couple of others I prefer over this one, but it is easy to apply and has good coverage. If you are looking for a time-saver and a money-saver, give this make-up a try. I'm sure you will like it. If you do not use foundation or concealer very much, because you are one of the people I hate <g> with a perfect complexion, then you will not need to even try this make-up. This is mainly for people that have uneven skin tones, or complexion flaws that require concealers.
