I have whoppin’ lost my realistic grasp of reviewing products that have little or no epinions currently offered… yup, guilty as charged… but for a good cause! As an early childhood educator – aka: daycare provider/preschool teacher – I am able to say that the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II is worth the suggested retail of $49.99. We have owned our little Deuce Coupe for years, it has provided hours of transportation giggles, endured use by children entirely old enough to know better (more on that frustration later), and persevered the weather elements of multiple Washington State rain days.

Through all of this the only sign of age inflicted wear are the fading decals, and some minor staining at various points. This durable ride-on washes well, moves smooth on grass – cement – dirt, and is the favorite of children 18 months through 5 years of age. It is easy to highly recommend the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II!

This vehicle has turned the odometer and went beyond expected longevity to pass-by other child-powered vehicles. The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II continues to receive daily use (regardless that my children are too old for it) and earns a place of staple commodity within playland.

This foot-powered vehicle is a classic Little Tikes offering. It certainly earns the title of one of the most sought after toys for young children. We purchased our coupe on sale – at a local K-marche – for $24.99. Usually these vehicles range from $34.99 - $59.99. Another noteworthy option is the usual $5 - $20. Charged when obtaining one second-hand. If this is a feasible option for you be sure to check the wheels and structure prior to purchase. There are many competitive modes of transportation available. I honestly feel that Little Tikes offers the most durable units.

Initially our Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II was indoors. This was only able to last for about 2 weeks (overcrowding issues). Rest assured that if space allows, this car travels on carpeting, tile, and vinyl floor covering. Once outside it became quickly evident that space constraints inside were hindering. Although the wheel structures maneuver tight corners - front wheels turn 360 degrees for easy movement - the wide-open spaces are truly more enjoyed by the young child. The chunky black wheels are affixed onto metal devices that allow for awesome rotation and easy turns. This is an added bonus when riding the coupe along slender sidewalks that mandate sharp turn-arounds. This car operates smoothly on exposed aggregate cement, sidewalks, pavement, dirt, and grass. Gravel – understandably – isn’t a favorable surface and one in which you should expect driver frustration.

Red and yellow are the most prominent colors on the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II. The main car unit is red, accented with some various decals, and made of the signature-molded plastic offered by Little Tikes. A yellow top adds a wonderfully vibrant compliment. The black wheels are accented with white rims, and red insert. A black steering wheel turns and offers a ‘squeaky’ horn in the middle. Decals are easy to adhere and add realistic detail.

In conclusion I highly recommend the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II as a self-powered mode of transportation for your toddler/preschooler. One word of caution ~ the interest isn’t limited to the younger crowd. Ignoring better judgement to live the driving to the younger children, I caught my older daughter and her friends using the little coupe for racing across the yard. One of them was laying over the top of the coupe, while the other pushed in a race fashion. The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe II withstood the abuse, but mom wasn’t impressed. Well… truth be known ~ I found it rather amusing *grin*.
