Pros: Good mechanism
Cons: Mattresses fail quickly, Craftmatic will not honor warranty.
The Bottom Line: People need to know that their reputation is NOW zero and not to rely on being a past name brand. They no longer earn that.

| billzilla's Full Review: Craftmatic Craftmatic Model 1 Mattress |
I bought a King Size XL Craftmatic bed 14 months ago. This is actually made up of two XL twin beds, which fit in my bedframe nicely. The mechanism has performed well, the vibrator is fine.
I am single, and sleep on one side. On flipping the mattress, which I do monthly as well as rotating it, I noticed that the top was askew ... the mattress I was sleeping on was no longer square. The top of the mattress was about 3 inches to one side of the bottom of the mattress.
I called Craftmatic and was told they no longer carried these mattresses, and was offered a replacement that was 2 inches taller than my other one for $400.
Let's see, they're offering to make me a mis-matched set, one 2 inches higher than the other, and prorated against a 15 year warranty, a 14 month old mattress for $400 would make the mattress worth over 4 grand, more than I paid for the entire setup.
To date complaints to the local consumer reporter, to the BBB and the FTC have gained nothing.
DO NOT BUY CRAFTMATIC unless you are willing to simply toss it should something go wrong.
