The answer to my messy shop-drawer, but it's not quite perfect...

Pros: Can make a nightmare drawer look perfect, keeps sockets stable and secure, easy to assemble.
Cons: Can't move trays very easily with sockets installed, not enough 1/4" pegs included.
The Bottom Line: For my needs this organizer is perfect. It keeps your sockets in order and easily accessible in your drawer. For most shops this could be a big help.

----- What kind of organizer is this? -----
I'll admit this right away, I'm not all that good at organization. I'll wager that most ladies have one or two junk drawers somewhere in the kitchen for all that stuff that just doesn't fit anywhere. If one of them looked at each drawer in my rolling Craftsman 8-drawer tool chest they would be horrified.
Two drawers alone are devoted to my various sockets in all sizes and lengths. Since my original storage trays have long since been lost or are now broken, most sockets are in a maelstrom of confusion in one of those drawers. Finding the right socket is always a battle with time being lost every time. I finally decided to go to Sears and find a solution somewhere in the tool department.
Several types of organizers were available, which one you choose depends on your needs and wants. I found at least 5 different styles ranging from strip-style holders with handles for easy transport to large trays with holes and labels for each size. The 65287 Tray is different in that it's adjustable and fully customizable by you for your needs. No matter what drawer or shelf size you have, as long as it can fit a 6" x 8.5" tray you can use this organizer set.
----- How does it work? -----
Each tray set comes with three separate storage trays, 25 1/2" storage pegs, 25 1/4" storage pegs, and 50 3/8" storage pegs. Each peg has the same two-pronged expansion clip on the bottom which fits into corresponding holes in the storage tray. To assemble your organizer you just need to plan out your socket pattern, figure out which sizes you want where, and start popping pegs in.
I have one tray for metric sockets and one for standard sockets, with both 1/4" and 3/8" sockets on each tray. This works out great since the pegs hold each socket firmly even when the drawer is closed or opened violently. The last tray is devoted to 1/2" drive sockets and my deep-well 3/8" set.
I've had no problems with this organizer since I purchased it, on the contrary I've saved time on many occasions working on cars and other shop projects. At $20 this kit isn't the cheapest, so I'm planning on picking up another kit or two in the future. One thing that bugs me about this kit is the lack of enough 1/4" socket pegs, for how small they are Craftsman should have included 50 pegs instead of 25. I used up all the 1/4" pegs on the first tray and had to remove some to have a few on my metric tray. The last downside I can think of is once you have these trays set up they are quite difficult to get out of your tool drawer. If you often like to bring your entire socket set over to your project, you'd best look at another type of organizer. I'm happy with this set for my needs, a few more included pegs and my rating would be an easy 5-star.
