Put me on a riding lawn mower and I’m a happy camper.
I purchased my Sears Craftsman lawn tractor this month.
Some people call it a riding lawn mower.

My Craftsman is a Sears’s product. About this mower,
it has a 17.0 Horse power engine, which is enough power for me
to mow the little hills on my 1 & 1/2 acres of land.

The blade spread on this lawn mower is 42”.
One feature on the mower is, when I raise up off the seat the
mower automatically stops running. A great safety feature I think.

Safety is a must when I’m using my riding mower.
Children are often amazed with mowers especially riding one’s.

1. Small children should be with an adult.
2. Turn the engine off if children enter the mowing area.
3. Never let children ride with you on the mower.
4. Children operating the machine is a no, no.

Service is a must if I want my machine to have a long mowing life.

1.Keep nuts & bolts, especially blade attachment bolts tightened
2.Always clean off build up of grass, derbies, and leaf build up.
3.Stop and inspect the equipment if you strike an object.
4. Give the engine a new plug every mowing season.
5. Check air filter frequently. I clean my filter every 4 mows
6. Change oil every season if needed, if the oil is coal black definitely change the oil.

This mower will go over 3 miles an hour, but there is no need to mow that fast. I personally
like my mower running at 1 mile an hour. It will live longer.

My wife said I love this Craftsman riding tractor more than her, but at least the yard is
kept cut and looks great. Also I don’t ware myself out walking with a push mower.
