I received this item as a Christmas present. My wife went to a lot of trouble to make sure I had a very nice Christmas. I had been looking for a replacement for my hand me down Snap-on (which is over 30 years old).
She bought this item and had it delivered to my house as part of the stacked system. The items were very poorly packaged and two of the three boxes were damaged. The drawers were very cheaply made and the metal was as thin as paper. The toolbox had a feature that allowed the drawer lip to swivel and acted as a locking mechanism. This was not a very attractive feature as the lip would rub against the drawer above it and often jam.
We returned the boxes to the store and found out from the customer service representative that one out of five boxes usually comes back for some reason. I will never buy another Craftsman toolbox, or tool for that matter. I have found a very good replacement in the Kobalt line of tools at Lowe's Home Improvement center. It seems as though Sears has lost touch with the core values of their company and keeps declining in quality.
