In my opinion, there are no other tool makers out there that can produce a product as high in quality as Craftsman for such a value to the consumer. That being said...I've owned many sets of Craftsman wrenches without ever having any problems with them. They are very strong in any situation and can stand up to plenty of abuse. In approximately 12 years of use, I have never once had to have one warrantied.
As a "shadetree" mechanic, I use these wrenches almost every day. I own a large set of snap-on wrenches and I must say that the Craftsman wrenches are a lot easier on the hands. Craftsman wrenches are slightly bulkier than other high quality wrenches, but they are wider than snap-on wrenches in the hand area which makes a big difference. The extra size has never caused any problems because it is specifically limited to the grip area.
