Crayola 10 Ct. Fine Line Markers - Classic Colors set is a must have according to both of my daughters. In fact every year during back to school shopping, the girls each get a set of these classic markers, in addition to multitudes of other items. Although they own several other marker sets, it is the 10 count fine line classic color CRAYOLA set that continues to be toted to and from class after class. The girls appreciate the fact that the box fits into a zipped storage pocket, along with other everyday must haves.

The assortment of Crayola 10 Ct. Fine Line Markers - Classic Colors meet the basic needs of map making, doodling, and other Junior and High School day-to-day at school tasks. These slender markers are similar in size to a standard pencil, making them easy to hold. As indicative in the product title, you are able to draw a fine line with these markers. This allows for legible writing and detailed lines.

These markers have a lid that snaps on and off. This lid can be placed onto the marker end while said marker is in use. The lids are colored with the same hue as the marker. The barrels of the markers are white with accents of the marker color. Both the barrel and the lid aid toward easy color identification, as does the color name printed on the side of the marker.

Pricing for this set varies, with the most affordable purchase options offered during back-to-school sales at larger department stores. Suggested retail for this set is $3.49. It is important to not that this particular set is not considered washable. In fact the manufacturer mentions, "Stain Advisement: Crayola markers contain colorants which may stain.". This set is intended for ages five and up. According to product packaging these markers are considered non-toxic and the product conforms to ASTM D-4236.

In addition to purchase of these sets for my daughters, I also supply each teacher at the center with a set of these. Because of the fine tips, these markers offer a colorful option for filling out daily topic sheets at the child care center.

While I don’t recommend this set for younger children (not washable), it is my opinion that this set is above average/excellent with regard to use by older kids, teens and adults. The markers are long lasting, durable, affordable, and really easy to write/draw with.
