As an Early Childhood Educator, I adore to give art and craft based gifts. Thankfully manufacturers now offer fashionable pre-packed options that make any gift recipient thrilled to acquire them. Although I occasionally create my own version of artsy splendor for present giving purpose, it is now more frequent that I purchase a set such as the Crayola Art Buddy Back Pack and add a few paper items.
One attribute of giving gifts such as this is that even if the recipient has artsy crafty items, there remains an appreciation for new markers and crayons! And on many occasions I have received a gleeful parental approval because of the toteability of the pack and contents. Thus making this a wonderful gift option for many more occasions other than birthday time.
For instance, I keep one of these packs within my home gift giving collection for times such as the unfortunate visit to a young friend in the hospital. Hospitalization can be weary on the parent and child, but receiving a pack such as this will often provide a unified opportunity to pass time creatively. I am fond of the clear pack that allows for visibility and ease of desired product retrievement. Little hands fit within the interior of this bag, and the eye may follow the hand to the precise location of the favored find. The plastic is very durable, as is the zipper and straps. The bright blue straps are adjustable, allowing for the perfect fit to your child’s back. The zipper glides with ease, and the yellow handle atop allows for a carrying option.
The only improvement I suggest for this fun-filled creativity pack is inclusion of paper! You may choose to add in a pair of safety scissors and a glue stick. Realize that with this inexpensive art set, you receive the high quality of Crayola products. Accept no imposter! As far as this gal is concerned…. Crayola rules and all substitutes drool.
