I am a huge fan of Crayloa's products. I keep a set of their erasable colored pencils in my briefcase and am constantly drawing in my book.
It didn't look like you've reviewed the pencils yet. Have you tried them? They are a little harder than a professional grade colored pencil, but they do erase well.
Best,
George

Watercolour Pencils (Reply to this comment)
by telynor
One of the lovely things about watercolour pencils is that they are one of the best tools around to help teach someone that a wet brush is nothing to be frightened off. The other lovely bit is that they are very portable, easy to use, and build confidence in the most timid of artists. I like them because the pigments are strong and they can be very durable. For a more advanced manufacturer, try the Derwent brand of pencil, made by Windsor and Newton. -- Telynor

I definitely agree with you that a child younger than eight could use these. My daughter has used them several times and we completely forgot about them until I was cleaning out the closet underneath our stairs over the weekend and found them.
I think that I know what she can use for an art project this weekend! ;)
