The Creative Labs 3D Blaster is one of the best 3d cards I have seen out there. I test tried it a few times, with several different games, at a friend's house, and I must say that I am very impressed. Quake 3 ran at a 800x600 resolution and 32-bit color depth like it was nothing at all, with the background smoothly blended in and small details clearly defined. I heard that it doesn't come with any games, and only a few utilities, but that's the Creative way to do business. I hooked up a TV to the computer and played Quake 3 on the big screen, thanks to the video-out function. For some odd reason the computer got really hot after only an hour or so, and I think it has something to do with the card.
