Pros: Good Price / Easy to Install / Excellent First WebCam
Cons: Focus control almost impossible to use
The Bottom Line: If getting a $50-70 plus camera is delaying your decision, buy this one. Excellent for its price.

Price is always the first criteria to filter your options. This is my first webcam and I was not sure if it will work with my hardware. So this was the best price I could find for a to-start-with camera. And for the price, it is more than satisfactory.
Installation was very smooth. I have Dell 8000 series, Pent 4 1.7 GHhz, Win XP home with SB LIVE! Value Digital Sound Card, 64MB GEFORCE4 MX 420 (video card) with TV Out, and 256 MB RDRAM. I am using it with Yahoo messenger and it was in business within 10 minutes.
Quality: For this price, NOT having a 640x480 resolution was not a problem. Its 352x288 max resolution is great but the one less than that is better. I was pretty happy at its hinged base also. It does not swivel, but that is fine.
Software: You also get good software with it. I loved the "album" feature which lets you mantain a video-cum-still album.
Any negatives? I have not used it extensively, but for the price, I have no complaint. Just one thing: It has a manual focus ring on the camera. That it almost unusable if you want to set it up for webcam on yourself. It may help if you are setting it on someone else.
