fall0ut's Full Review: Creative Technology Sound Blaster Ensoniq
The Creative (Ensoniq) AudioPCI (ES1370/ES1371) Card is absolutely the best sound card for the buck that you can buy. Not only do these cards sound great, but they are supported on any platform. I own an oringinal Ensoniq ES1371 (Before it was Creative), but I recently purchased a Gigabyte GA-7VRXP that has the Creative chip on it (re-labeled I imagine). I am a Linux user and I use both of these cards at the same time.
The best part about these cards in Linux is the 2 DSPs. You can actually decode 2 sounds at once with these cards and have it output to the speakers. The absolute best card for Linux out there.
